The Owen Sarwatka Foundation can only be successful with your help! Here is information on what you can do to help support our Foundation's missions.
Awareness Campaigns
The Owen Sarwatka Foundation conducts periodic Awareness Campaigns on the Facebook social media platform. Following or Liking the Owen Sarwatka Foundation on Facebook helps spread the word about the mission of our Foundation throughout our community. It also creates awareness of Owen's positive influence in our community and encourages everyone to take advantage of every day to become a better person.
Awareness Baseballs
The Owen Sarwatka Foundation planted Awareness Baseballs in public lands around the country. Each ball is numbered and contains a message to find the Owen Sarwatka Foundation on Facebook. If you find one of these balls, contact us on Facebook and let us know the number on the ball and where you found it. Taking a photo of the ball and uploading it to the Owen Sarwatka Foundation Facebook page is also encouraged. It is then your turn to plant an Awareness Baseball by taking that ball on your future travels, and placing it somewhere for the next person to find.
Financial Support
The Owen Sarwatka Foundation accepts tax-deductible public donations to help support our yearly giving missions. Acceptable donations can be cash donations, investment securities, or real estate. If you support our Foundation's missions and values and have the means to support our Foundation with a donation, please use the Donate button on our website to contribute using our PayPal interface. Donations can also be mailed to our Foundation using the information found on our Contact webpage. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about how to make a donation or about other ways you would like to help.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Corporate matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to nonprofit organizations. When an employee makes a donation, they'll request the matching gift from their employer, who then makes their own donation. Check with your employer to see if they offer matching gift programs to double your charitable contribution.
